Characteristics of a Cowboy Church

1.  Culturally relevant

in order to reach into the western culture of an area, such as we want to do here   in San Angelo.

2.  Simplicity

	Worship (music, building, order of service)
	Preaching (non-judgmental, simple)
	Dress (western or casual)
	Teams (rather than committees)
	Offering
	Invitation (green sheets)
	Baptism (horse trough, sometimes in a river or a lake)

3.  Outreach - arena events

	Ranch Rodeos
	Play Days
	Barrel Racing
	Horse Events (reining, trail rides, western pleasure)
	Participation in sorting, penning, and cutting
	Special Events (Horse Whisperer)
